Mary Ann Wells and Wendy Ford appeared in support of this application. No persons appeared in opposition to this application. Moved by Todd Taylor, Seconded by John Bate: "THAT the application be APPROVED, increasing the maximum permitted total lot coverage from 40% to 46.25%, as it is in conformity with the Official Plan and Zoning By-law and is deemed to be minor and desirable". "CARRIED" A2012-0023 WILLIAM EDWARDS 74 HARRY GAY DRIVE, COURTICE PART LOT 27, CONCESSION 3 FORMER TOWNSHIP OF DARLINGTON To permit the construction of an attached deck by increasing the maximum permitted projection into the required rear yard from 1.5 metres to 2.9 meters for the deck and from 1.5 meters to 4.4 metres for the stairs and by increasing the maximum permitted lot coverage from 40% to 47.3%. Moved by James Vinson, Seconded by Todd Taylor: "THAT the application be APPROVED as applied for, as it is in conformity with the Official Plan and Zoning By-law and is deemed to be minor and desirable "CARRIED" A2012-0024 MARTIN GERKES 3700 MAPLE GROVE ROAD, MAPLE GROVE PART LOT 19, CONCESSION 3 FORMER TOWNSHIP OF DARLINGTON To permit the construction of an addition to an existing agricultural building by reducing the minimum required southerly interior side yard setback from 15 metres to 3 metres. Martin Gerkes appeared in support of this application. No persons appeared in opposition to this application. Moved by Paul Allore, Seconded by John Bate: "THAT the application be APPROVED with a southerly interior side yard setback of 3 metres as it is in conformity with the Official Plan and Zoning By- law and is deemed to be minor in nature and desirable". No persons appeared in support of this application. No persons appeared in opposition to this application. Moved by Paul Allore, Seconded by Todd Taylor: "THAT the application be APPROVED with a rear yard setback of 6.69 metres for an unheated sunroom addition as it is in conformity with the Official Plan and Zoning By-law and is deemed to be minor and desirable." "CARRIED" Committee of Adjustment May 31, 2012 Page 3 A2012-0026 JOHN LEE 10330 OLD SCUGOG ROAD, DARLINGTON PART LOT 20, CONCESSION 10 FORMER TOWNSHIP OF DARLINGTON To permit the construction of a single detached dwelling by reducing the minimum required exterior side yard setback from 15 metres to 4.9 metres and by reducing the minimum required front yard setback from 15 metres to 8.2 metres. John Lee appeared in support of this application. No persons appeared in opposition to this application. Moved by John Bate, Seconded by Paul Allore: "THAT the application be APPROVED as applied for, subject to the following conditions: 1) That the applicant obtains a demolition permit for the dwelling that was demolished; 2) That the applicant submits a letter to the Building Division requesting the cancellation of Building Permit 10.0052, a proposed addition to the(demolished) single detached dwelling but never constructed; and 3) That the applicant obtains a building permit for the new dwelling unit. Moved by Todd Taylor, Seconded by John Bate: "THAT the application be APPROVED as applied for, with a minimum rear yard setback of 1.5 metres for an accessory structure (swimming pool) as it is in conformity with the Official Plan and Zoning By-law and is deemed to be minor and desirable."
