MOTION NOTICE OF MOTION At a meeting held on March 14, 1994, Councillor Scott and Councillor Hannah gave notice that they will introduce the following motion: "WHEREAS the municipality of Clarington is recognized as a union of diverse communities covering a large geographical area, comprised of three distinct wards; AND WHEREAS it is the responsibility of its local municipalgovernment to be as accessible as possible to its constituents; Council Agenda - 5 - April 11, 1994 NOTICE OF MOTION NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT once each quarter, one regularly scheduled Council Meeting be held at a suitable location in either Ward 1 or Ward 3. Beginning during the second quarter of 1994, these meetings will be rotated between the 2 wards and will be advertised in advance of their scheduled dates." REPORTS 1. UNFINISHED BUSINESS BY -LAWS 94 -57 being a by -law to amend By -law 84 -63, the Comprehensive Zoning By -law of the former Corporation of the Town of Newcastle (Item #3 of Report #1); 94 -58 being a by -law to amend By -law 84 -63, the Comprehensive Zoning By -law for the former Town of Newcastle (Item #4 of Report #1); 94 -59 being a by -law to declare the seat of a member of council vacant (Item #7 of Report #1); 94 -60 being a by -law to authorize the execution of a Leasing Agreement between the Corporation of the Municipality of Clarington and Her Majesty the Queen in right of Ontario as represented by the Management Board of Canada for the rental of the Probation Offices in the premises located at 132 Church Street, Bowmanville, Ontario (Item #8 of Report #1); and 94 -61 being a by -law to amend By -law No. 93 -119, to authorize the execution of a Transfer in the form of a Quit Claim (Item #11 of Report #1).
