Devin Pascoe, Matthew- Pascoe, Katelyn Olsen and Lucas Olsen helped at the booth and BBQ during the Men's and Ladies ball tournaments, and occasionally throughout the summer during regular soccer and baseball games and practices. They were either paid $5 per hour, or put the time toward their volunteer hours for high school. The spring clean up took place in early May. Herb Tink worked hard removing the leaves from the park, while Manuella Pascoe and Sue Olsen did some garbage pick up, and opened, cleaned and re -stocked the booth and bathrooms. The park was rented out for the annual Mitchell Fraser tournament on May 29. 2010. It was also rented out for family picnics, church picnics, and employee appreciation barbeques. Rental agreements were signed and liquor licenses were obtained when necessary. The town clerk's office, police department, fire department and health department were all notified about the events. Regular season baseball and soccer games were scheduled with a few minor conflicts. There were several game cancellations due to inclement weather — which were re- scheduled for a later date. Ken Ashton maintained the diamonds, while Don Dair took care of the lawns and garbage removal. Despite repeated promises, we still have not received any monies from Bernie Barron. Once again, we will not be renting the park out to him, unless he pays the outstanding amount and any future bookings paid in full, in cash upfront. As per the Public Health Inspector's recommendations in November 2010, a meat probe thermometer was purchased to check the internal temperature of meat when cooking. Also, a sanitize test kit was also purchased to ensure cooking/food handling surfaces and utensils are properly cleaned. The Public Health Inspector returned in the spring to test the water. We have not received any negative feedback regarding the water. Things to do in the future: I . Repaint the bathroom floor and walls and the booth floor & wall. 2. Touch up paint of booth doors. 3. Level concrete slabs outside of booth window, and possibly add a few more slabs. 4. Inspect sensor lights outside of booth to ensure they are functioning properly.
