Karen Dair welcomed everyone to the meeting.
The minutes from the 2010 annual meeting were reviewed. Dave Best
moved to accept these minutes as presented. This was seconded by Sue
Olsen. Carried.
Herb Tink presented the treasurer's report. Herb Tink moved to accept the
report and this was seconded by Dave Best. Carried.
Committee reports were presented by the Hall (Karen Dair) and Park (Sue
Olsen) as attached. The youth soccer convenor (Shane Mcquinn) reported
that 2011 was a successful year. There were 95 children enrolled in soccer
with a total of 5 teams. (Reports attached)
Moved by Sue Olsen to accept the committee -reports. This was seconded by
Dave Best.
A request was made for any new nominations to the board. No requests were
presented. Karen Dair moved to accept the current members on the board.
Seconded by Dave Best.
New business:
Rental increases for the hall was discussed. Herb Tink moved to increase the
rental rates for 2012 as shown. Seconded by Vi Ashton.
Hall rental with a liquor license $350.00 (from $325.00)
Hall rental without liquor $ 225.00 (from $200.00)
Local residents rental for lower level only $125.00 (from $100.00)
Rental for Church Suppers $150.00 (from $125.00)
Information:
Solina Community Centre will participate in the Clarington Doors Open
events on June 09, 2012 along with Eldad United Church and the old Solina
School. Plans are being made for historical information to be presented.
Dave Best motioned to adjourn the meeting.
