Moved by Anthony Wood, Seconded by John Bellman: "To APPROVE the application to permit the construction of a link dwelling by reducing the minimum required exterior side yard setback from 6 metres to 3.56 metres at the rear left corner of the dwelling and 4.5 metres along the side of the dwelling as it meets the intent of both Official Plans and Zoning By- law, is minor in nature and not detrimental to the neighbourhood." "CARRIED" A2010-0023 KATHRYN TURANSKY/ CORINNE TURANSKY PART LOT 5, CONCESSION 7, FORMER TOWNSHIP OF CLARKE 7316 LANGSTAFF ROAD, CLARKE To permit the construction of a single detached dwelling on an existing lot of record by reducing the minimum required agricultural setback required in the Zoning By-law from 300 metres to 150 metres from the livestock barn located at 7315 Langstaff Road; by reducing the minimum required front yard setback from 10 metres to 6 metres; by reducing the minimum required side yard setback from 7.5 metres to 3 metres; and by reducing the minimum required setback to an Environmental Protection Zone from 3 metres to 0 metres. Michael Brown appeared in support of this application. Tom Blake appeared in opposition to this application. Moved by John Bellman, Seconded by James Vinson: "To APPROVE the application to permit the construction of link townhouse dwellings by reducing the minimum required interior west side yard setback from 4.5 metres to 3 metres and by reducing the minimum required rear yard setback from 7.5 metres to 3 metres as it meets the intent of both Official Plans and the Zoning By-law, is minor in nature and not detrimental to the neighbourhood." "CARRIED" OTHER BUSINESS: Appeal date for the foregoing applications is July 28, 2010 Next meeting of the Committee of Adjustment: July 22, 2010 Jim will be absent from the next meeting.
