(b) Cathy Ferguson, 4795 Trolls Rood North, M""""'eD~ Corners, IAlB lJO - re:
Crossing Guard - M"dPhPIIR Comers School - accompanied by Gwen Banks
and Debbie Butson, reiterated her request for the placement of a crossing
guard on Trulls Road North to assist children attending Mitchells Comers
School. She indicated that she disagrees with the contents of a Crossing
Guard Needs Study which indicated that a crossing guard is not required
at this location and she requested that a copy of the study be forwarded
to her. She informed the Committee that approximately 35 of 90 children
are walkers. She has a grave concern on the safety of the children due to
the excessive speed of cars and a hollow curvature on the road which
hinders the view of vehicular traffic from small children. She requested
that the Committee place a crossing guard at this location for the safety of
the children.
