(a) Town of Newcastle - Report PD-45-93 - the purpose and effect of this amendment is to incorporate policies into the Official Plan of the Town of Newcastle which will encourage the creation of an adequate and accessible supply of housing that is affordable for all present and future residents of the Town. Noone spoke in opposition to or in support of this application. (b) Tomina - Report PD-46-93 - the purpose and effect of this amendment is to permit the establishment of a driving raogelputting course and batting cage area in addition to the existing residential use. Noone spoke in opposition to or in support of this application. Henry Kortekaas, Henry Kortekaas & Associates, 82 Sherwood Road East, Ajax, LIT 2Z2 - appeared with Mrs. G. He displayed an artist's rendering of the project and noted that the driving range will include targets and netting. There will be 15 hatting cages and the maximum proposed number of parking spaces will be 156. The existing structures will be used as snack bars and a geo-technical study indicates that the existing water supply and sewage system will not be adversely affected.
