SUBJECTO study of the Financial Impact on the Ratepayers in the
Town of Newcastle of the decision to group the Town of
Newcastle with the County of Northumberland for Education
purposes .

Recommendation :
"Received for information"
"That the Northumberland and Newcastle Board of Education
be invited to meet with the Finance and Administration
Committee at its February 3rd, 1981 meeting held at 9: 30 a.m.
Report :
The report as completed by myself and Gordon W. Savage , C .G.A.
Assistant Business Administrator Yor the Northumberland-Newcastle
Board of Education was completed and sent to all members of
Council on December 9 , 1980. It was intended that the Council
members have the chance to reveiw the document and that then
a joint meeting would be set to discuss the report and to formulate
any action based on its contents .
