BACKGROUND 1.1 Our report covers the month of April, 2003. It is our intent to provide Committee with information relevant to this department, in a timely manner. 2. REPORT 2.1 The department responded to 255 calls in April and recorded total fire loss at $219,300. A breakdown of calls responded to follows in the table attached. *Standby As indicated in the table attached, Station 1 part-time firefighters were activated fifteen times, and Station 4 part-time firefighters twelve times in April to standby while Pumper 1 and Pumper 4 responded to emergency calls.
