Deputy Clerk, R. Rutledge
Absent:
Special Council meeting held to confirm actions taken during
the Special General Purpose and Administration Committee
Budget Meetings and to pass the necessary By-laws.

THAT the actions taken during the Special General Purpose
and Administration Committee Budget Meetings be confirmed.

THAT leave be granted to introduce the following by-laws,
and that the said by-laws be now read a first time:
87-58 being a by-law to adopt the estimates of all sums required
during the year for municipal purposes and to strike the
rates of taxation for municipal purposes for the year
1987;

87-59 being a by-law to establish fees for tax certificates;
87-60 being a by-law to establish a Reserve Fund for the
Retirement of Debentures for the new Arena and
Administrative Centre;
87-61 being a by-law to authorize the debenturing of
$3,OOJ,OOJto assist in the construction of a new
Arena and Community Hall, located at Lot 15, Concession
1, now in the Town of Newcastle.

THAT leave be granted to introduce By-law 87-62,
being a by-law to confirm the proceedings of the Council
of the Town of Newcastle at this meeting held on the 3rd
day of Apr\l 1987, ,rod that the said by-law be now read
a first time.
