HomeMy WebLinkAbout2005-217 THE CORPORATION OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF CLARINGTON BY-LAW 2005-217 being a by-law to declare a portion of an unopen road allowance situated between Lot 12 and Lot 13, Broken Front Concession, former Town of Bowmanville, now in the Municipality of Clarington to be surplus, to stop up and close as a public highway a portion of the road allowance situated between Lot 12 and Lot 13, Broken Front Concession, former Town of Bowmanville, now in the Municipality of Clarington and to authorize the conveyance of a portion of the road allowance situated between Lot 12 and Lot 13, Broken Front Concession, former Town of Bowmanville, now in the Municipality of Clarington to Bowmanville Creek Developments Inc. WHEREAS the Council of the Municipality of Clarington at its meeting of April 4, 2005 approved the recommendations in Report EGD-07 -05; NOW THEREFORE the Council of the Corporation of the Municipality of Clarington hereby enacts as follows: 1. That a portion of an unopen road allowance situated between Lot 12 and Lot 13, Broken Front Concession, former Town of Bowmanville, now in the Municipality of Clarington is hereby declared surplus and stopped up and closed as a public highway. 2. That the sale and transfer to Bowmanville Creek Developments Inc. of an unopen road allowance situated between Lot 12 and Lot 13, Broken Front Concession, former Town of Bowman vi lIe, now in the Municipality of CIa ring ton is approved. 3. That the Mayor and Clerk are authorized on behalf of the Municipality to execute the transfer. By-law read a first and second time this 14th day of November 2005. By-law read a third time and finally passed this 14th day of November 2005. ~$
