4. Kirby School
THAT it be recommended to Council that the School Board be asked if they would lease
the Kirby Schooi for seven years at a nominal amount per year for use by the Museum.
V< 5. By-Law No. 74-89 - Staff Policy
THAT it be recommended to Council that an amendment be presented to Council to
amend By-Law No. 74-89 as amended by By-Law No. 76-44 so that the WorkspSecretary
will be paid on a bi-weekly basis.
6. Applications for Cancellation Reduction or Refund of Taxes
THAT it be recommended to Council that the attached list of Applications for
Cancellation, Reduction or Refund of Taxes as presented by the Tax Collector
be concurred with.
7. M.V. Jones re O.H.A.P.
AT it be recommended to Council that the Ministry of Housing be advised that
Murray V. Jones final report has been received and that the work program ��:,;.•
completed. €
8. Parking Meters Christmas Period
THAT it be recommended to Council that the parking meters on the Municipal Parking
lot on Church Street, East of the Fire Building be covered between the hours of
10:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. from Monday, November 29th, 1976 to Friday, December 31st,
1976 to encourage Christmas Shopping in Bowmanville and that a Notice be placed
in the Canadian Statesman and Notice given out to merchants of the down town area.
