Mayor Rickard and Members of Council:
The following recommendations were made at a meeting of the Finance
Committee held on July 7th, 1975 at 9:30 a.m. in the Bowmanville Committee
Room:-
1. Municipal Levies
THAT the Mayor and Treasurer are instructed to seek relief from the Province
from highly inequitable municipal levies caused by percentage liabilities
and transitional mill rates provided by the Ministry of Treasury Economics and
Intergovernmental Affairs.
2. 1975 Budget
THAT the Budget as presented be accepted and recommended to Council, subject to
any credits which may be received from the Province to alleviate any inequalities.

3. Well in Township Yard
THAT Faulkner be engaged to drill a well in Township yard and water piped to
Arena on the road allowance, subject to the approval of the Region.
