Mayor Rickard and Members of Council:-
The following is a report of a meeting of the Finance Committee held in
the Bowmanville Committee Room on Monday, March 29, 1976, at 1 p.m.
1. Newcastle Arena Accounts
It was recommended to Council that the following accounts be paid and included
in the 1976 Budget:
Perrin Turner Ltd. $ 360.00
Goodes Hardware $ 288.84
Wilson Grinding Service $ 47.50
R. B. Rickard $ 55.27
Toms & Sons $ 33.19
Security Recycling Ltd. $ 39.00

2. Brine Pipes for Bowmanville Arena
It was recommended to Council that an amount of $31,619.61 be taken from the Lot
Leviesi account and used in conjunction with a Community Centres Grant to
finance the installation of r2w Brine Pipes and new Evaporator at the Bowmanville
Arena.
3. It was recommended to Council that the Mayor and Clerk be authorised to sign �
a contract with Cimco Ltd. for the installation of Brine Pipes at Bowmanville - `
Arena at a cost of $35, 750.00.
4. Offer of M.T.C. Land
It was recommended to Council that the Ministry of Transportation and Communication's
letter of October 15, 1975, regarding surplus land for sale, be received for
information and no action taken. 1 ,r'
