Minutes of a meeting of the Finance Committee held
in the Committee Room of the Bowmanville Town Hall
on Wednesday, April 21, 1976, at 4030 p.m.

Parking THAT a letter be sent to Mrs. Lunn, in Orono, explaining
Orono that since the Parking Enforcement Officer only works part
time in the Village, it is impossible for her to ticket every
car, however, Mr. Best, the By-Law Enforcement Officer will
investigate the problem.

Furnace THAT the Chairman look into the problem of the furnace at the
Visual Visual Arts Centre and report back to Committee.

Perpetual THAT it be recommended to Council that the Treasurer invest
Care Funds $4,600. Perpetual Care Funds in a Guaranteed Investment
Certificate for 5 years.

Photocopier THAT the Treasurer be authorized to purchase the photocopier
Hampton at the Hampton Office, which is now being rented, at a cost
Office. of $1950. less $270. rent paid = $1680.
