Minutes of a special meeting of Council
held on June 4, 1996, at 9:30 a.m., in the
Council Chambers
Councillor Hannah led the meeting in prayer.

The special Council meeting was convened in order to resolve an issue which has
arisen with the Willsonia Industries Ltd. real estate transaction. The Solicitor
explained to Members of Council the provision contained in the Servicing
Agreement which is causing some concern for the holders and lessee of property
within Reference Plan 40R-16730.

TIIAT the verbal report of the Solicitor be accepted; and
TIIAT the appropriate by-law be passed.

Moved by Councillor Hannah, seconded by Councillor Dreslinski
TIIAT leave be granted to introduce By-law 96-107, being a by-law to amend the
Servicing Agreement made between the Municipality of Clarington, Willsonia
Industries Ltd. and Clarington Place Limited, and that the said by-law be now
read a first and second time.

THAT leave be granted to introduce By-law 96-108, being a by-law to confirm the
proceedings of the Council of the Municipality of Clarington at this special
meeting held on the 4th day of June 1996, and that the said by-law be now read a
first and second time.
