Mayor Rickard and Members of Council:-
The following recommendations to Council were made at a meeting of the Finance
Committee held in the Bowmanville Committee Room on Wednesday, June 25th, 1975
at 7:00 p.m.
to Newcastle Recreation Committee
THAT the Budget allocation for the Newcastle Recreation Committee be increased
by $5,000 and that the Committee maintain a close liaison with Mr, Fanning, Director
of Recreation, to determine if any programme of the Newcastle Recreation Committee
warranted additional funds. In the event additional funds are required, these
funds would be cushioned through the Recreation Department with the concurrence of
the Community Services Committee.
20 Recreation Budget
THAT the sum of $20,000 be added back to the Recreation Department Budget.
3. Payroll Clerk
THAT the Committee concur with the Treasurerts recommendation pertaining to the
hiring of a Payroll Clerk,
