Minutes of a meeting of the Finance Committee held
in the Bowmanville Committee Room at 4:55 pm. on
Monday, May 26th, 1975.
Roll All members were present with Councillor Tink in the
Call Chair.
Resolution #F-170-75
Moved by Con. Hobbs, seconded by Con. Lyall.
Adoption THAT the minutes of meetings held on May 1st, 12th and 20th,
of Minutes 1975) be adopted.

Resolution #F-171-75
Moved by Mayor Rickard, seconded by Con. Lyall.
Mrs. Tillson THAT the request contained in Mrs. Florence Tillsonts letter
Trust dated May 21st, 1975 be granted and the total of the trust
Fund fund on the Town's books including interest to date be
turned over to the Newcastle Lions Club to defray the cont-
of
ontof diving board and tower at the new pool.

Moved by Con. Entwisle, seconded by Mayor Rickard.
Newcastle THAT Totten, Sims and Hubicki be requested to inspect the
Community Hall roof at the Newcastle Community Hall and report back to th-
Roof Committee.

Insurance Mr. Ed Hartley appeared before the Committee with his
Tenders proposals regarding Insurance Tendering.

THAT Mr. Hartleyts report be concurred with and also the
time table as per his letter of May 22nd, 1975, which is as
follows:-

5. Tender to be awarded by Thursday, June 26th.
6. Consultant to approve temporary insurance binders by noo ,.
on Monday June 30th.
