Minutes of a Special Meeting of the Finance Committee
held in the Boimlanville Committee Room on Monday,
May 20th, 1975 at 9:00 a.m.
Roll Present: Councillor H. Bruce Tink, Chairman

Councillor Kenneth E. Lyall, Member
Councillor Ann Cowman, Member

Absent: Councillor Donald W. Allin, Member

Moved by Con. Entwisle, seconded by Con. Lyall.
Contributions THAT the Revenue Budget item "Contributions from other
from Other Governments" be increased by ten percent (10%) from a

Administration THAT the Budget item "Administration Capital Expenditures"
Capital be increased from $5,000 to $5,500.

THAT the Budget item Administration "Unclassified" - Civic
be increased from $3,000 to $5,000.

Fire The Fire Department Budget was discussed as follows:
Department
Budget Fire Hydrants $11, 775. The Treasurer explained that should
a flat rate for water charges be adopted by the Region
this item could be removed from the Budget.
Capital Expenditures $6,000
It was explained by the Treasurer that this item was
to cover the purchasing and equipping of an Emergency Van.
This item was to be referred back to the Community Services
Committee for further consideration.
Next Budget It was agreed that the next meeting of the Finance Committee
Meeting for Budget discussions be held on Saturday, May 24th, 1975
at 9:00 a.m.
