Minutes of a meeting of the Finance Committee hold
in the Boinnanvillo Committee Room on Monday, May 12th, 1975
at 4:00 P.M.

Mrs. Russell THAT it be recommended to Council that $1,000.00 be provided
Beat re Book for in the budget to purchase 100 copies of Mrs. Best's
Publication book "A Place Called Solina" when published.

Purchase of Mr. Los Coombes and Mr. A. Thompson representatives of
Land by Central Lake Ontario Conservation Authority appeared
C.L.O.C.A. before the Committee regarding the purchase of valley
lands on the BoNxianville Creek, to the West of Bowmanville.

Municipal THAT the letter dated April 25th, 1.975 from Municipal
Planning Planning Consultants regarding Municipal Owned bands
Consultants be received for information and a letter be sent to
re Town Municipal Planning Consultants pointing out that the
Owned Land lands shown in Map 4, Orono, appear to be owned by the
Durham Agriculture Society.

Capital The Treasurer presented a letter from the Region pertaining
Budget to the Capital Bucl-etP asking the members of Council to give

serious thought to doloting items that could be considered
"Less Essential". Discussion of this matter was deferred
to the next Budget Meeting.
Budget The next meeting of the Finance Committee for discussion
Meeting of the budget Was set for Tuesday, May 20th, 1975 at 9:00 a.m.
