Finance Committee April 24, 1975.
Minutes of a special meeting of the Finance Committee
held in the Bowmanville Committee Room on Thursday,
April 24th, 1975 at 7:00 p.m.

Engineering THAT the 1975 Engineering Department Budget be given tentative
Department approval.

Fire Dept. THAT the breakdown of Costs for Equipment and Supplies,
Costs for totalling $7, 750. as supplied by Fire Chief Hayman, be approved.

Lights Bowmanville Chamber of Commerce, be deferred for budget

Clarke THAT the 1975 Budget Estimate #1 for the Orono Clarke Museum
Museum in the amount of $2,433. be given tentative approval.

Bowmanville THAT the 1975 Budget of the Bowmanville Museum be given tentative
Museum approval excluding the $3,000. expenditure for "Extraordinary
Budget Maintenance, Carriage House" resulting in a net amount of
$3,147. and furthermore that the matter of reconstruction of
the "Carriage House" be considered as a capital project with
the necessary funds to come from the "Capital Surplus" of
the museum.

Community Hall Board requesting a listing of monies paid to the members

Newcastle THAT the 1975 revised operating budget of the Newcastle
Community Community Hall Board in the amount of $13,712, be given
Hall Board tentative approval.

Rental
Rate THAT the Toon Council suggest to the Newcastle Community Hall
Structure Board that they give serious consideration to their present
rental rates structure with a view to increasing their
revenue in the future.
