Minutes of a meeting of the Finance Committee
held in Court Room No. 2 in the Police and
Fire Building at 3:00 p.m. on July 8th, 1974.
Present: Councillor Kenneth Lyall, Acting Chairman
Councillor Donald W. Allin, Member - Left at 3:55 p.m.
Councillor Kirk Entwisle, Member

Moved by Con. Wearn, seconded by Con. Entwisle,
Renovations THAT it be recommended to Council that the Mayor and
to Bowmanville Torn Clerk be authorised to' have two air conditioners
Town Hall installed in the new offices, 6.000, 8.000 BTU, in
accordance with the size of the rooms.

Wilswar The matter of the issue of building permits to D'Angelo
Subdivision Brothers was discussed, also the Writ and damage claim
Phase 2 issued by the Schwarz Brothers in connection with the
Storm Seger Easement.

THAT it be recommended to Council that at this time
Council does nothing that will increase the public
necessity.

THAT it be recommended to Council that the Corporation
negotiate with the Solicitors for Wilswar and ConDrain
Ltd. with a viers to jointly retaining a Council to
defend the action.
