Report of a Special Meeting of the Finance
Committee held in Court Room No. 2 on
July 3rd, 1974.
All Members of Council were present.
Councillor Allin acted as Secretary.
The following recommendations were made to Council:-
Mrs. M. Kirkton......Salary to remain as before......$ 5,300
Mrs. L. Ball.........Salary to remain as before...... 51500
Mrs. L. Fice.........Salary to be increased to....... 61200
Mrs, G. Gray.........Salary to be increased to....... 9,500
Mrs. J. Dunham........Salary to be increased to....... 61200
Mr. H. DeWith........Salary to be increased to....... 12,500
Mr. J. Hayman........Salary to be increased to....... 14,000
Mr. G. Sellars.......Salary to be $11,500 No overtime pay.
Mr. Hancock..........Salary to be 12,000 - No overtime pay.
Mr. Ashton.........,.Salary to be 12,000 - No overtime pay.
Mr. F. Brown.........Salary to be 121500 - No overtime pay.
Mr. M. Ross..........Salary to be 131000 - No overtime pay.
Mayor to discuss with Mr. Ross.
NOTE: The retroactive pay will be the difference between wages already
paid including overtime and the above figures, for the Works
Department Personnel.
Mr. C. Watt - Salary to remain as before - $15,000. Mr. Watt to work under
the superivision of the Director of Public Works.
