Minutes of a meeting of the Finance Committee
held in Court Room #2, Police and Fire Building,
on May 10th, 1974,
Present were: Councillor H. Bruce Tink, Chairman
Councillor Ivan M. Hobbs, Member
Councillor Kenneth E. Lyall, Member
Mayor Garnet B. Rickard, Member
Mr. J. F. Descent, Treasurer
Mr. J. M. Mcll.roy, Town Clerk, Secretary

Mr. N. Osborne, Insurance Agent

Moved by Con. Lyall,' seccnded by Con. Hobbs.
Insurance THAT the present Firemen's Policy for the former
Coverage Bowmanville Firemen be cancelled and that all the
Amendments Town Firemen be covered under Cowan's Policy with
a $10,000 coverage.

THAT there be $2.50.00 deductible on all vehicle
insurance.

THAT vehicles be insured at the purchase price, shown
on the guaranteed amount on Cowan's schedule.

THAT the boiler insurance maximum coverage be increased
to $250.00 at an additional annual cost of $57.00.

THAT the fire Insurance Coverage on buildings be as
per Cowan's schedule with the undernoted changes:-
#1 Newcastle Town Hall Increased To........$500,000
•;f11 .Hampton Garage & Office Increased To.... 50,000
#14 Equipment Depot - Clarke Decreased To... 70,000
#17 Orono Tocm Hall Increased To............ 100.000
