2. COMMENTS
2 . 1 During this quarter we had our first firefighters graduate
from the Ontario Fire College, which represents a high point
for the department.
2 . 2 The total calls for this quarter in comparison to the same
quarter of 1992 represent an increase of 32 calls an 14%
reduction. However, the year-to-date totals show a reduction
of 54 calls or 11% .
2 . 3 Although there is an increase or decrease in ambulance assist
calls from month to month, there is a decline over the first
half of 1993 in comparison to 1992 . This decline is 21 calls
or a 36% reduction. We will continue to monitor the calls to
ensure that Council's resolution is adhered to.
