2. COMMENTS
2 . 1 The Town of Newcastle Fire Department continues to strive for
their goal, that goal being to provide public education and
emergency services to the residents of the Town second to
none. Life safety is the ultimate goal and will continue to
be in the future.
2 .2 We will be working towards new and better programs aimed at
the Town's youth as well as adult residents . Public education
is the best possible means of fire prevention, and fire
prevention reduces both loss of life and property from fire.
