THE CORPORATION OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF CLARINGTON
BY-LAW 2005-159
being a by-law to stop up and close as a public highway Part 1 and Part 2
on Plan 40R-23536, unopen road allowance (Kilpatrick Road) and to
authorize the conveyance of Part 1 on Plan 40R-23536 to Richard and
Mary-Lou Brydson and to authorize the conveyance of Part 2 on Plan
40R-23536 to Edward Wallis.
Whereas the Council of the Municipality of Clarington at its meeting of March 25,
2005 approved the recommendations in Report EGD-06-05;
And Whereas Council at its meeting of June 13,2005 passed By-Law 2005-116
and declared a portion of an unopen road allowance (Kilpatrick Road) , more
particularly described as Part 1 and Part 2 on Plan 40R-23536 to be surplus;
NOW THEREFORE the Council of the Corporation of the Municipality of
Clarington hereby enacts as follows:
1. That Part 1 and Part 2, Plan 40R-23536 are hereby stopped up and
closed as a public highway.
2. That the sale and transfer to Richard and Mary-Lou Brydson of Part 1 on
Plan 40R-23536 is approved.
3. That the sale and transfer to Edward Wallis of Part 2 on Plan 40R-23536
is approved.
4. That the Mayor and Clerk are authorized on behalf of the Municipality to
execute the transfers.
By-law read a first and second time this 15th day of July 2005
By-law read a third time and finally passed this 15th day of July 2005
