HomeMy WebLinkAbout2016-056 THE CORPORATION OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF CLARINGTON BY-LAW NUMBER 2016-056 being an Interim Control By-law passed pursuant to section 38 of the Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990, c.P.13, as amended. WHEREAS at its meeting on June 13, 2016, Council directed staff to undertake a study of the land use planning policies respecting the Glenview Neighbourhood in Courtice; WHEREAS authority is given to Council under section 38 of the Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990, c.P.13, as amended to pass this Interim Control By-Law; and NOW THEREFORE the Council of The Corporation of the Municipality of Clarington hereby enacts as follows: 1. No person shall use any land, buildings or structures located within the area shown as the "Glenview Neighbourhood" on Schedule "A" to this By-law for any purpose except for: a. such uses that were legally established prior to the passage of this by-law; b. one-storey additions to the rear of an existing dwelling subject to the provisions of Section 12.2 of Zoning By-law 84-63; and/or c. accessory structures provided they comply with the provisions of Section 3 of Zoning By-law 84-63. 2. This by-law shall be in effect for a period of 1 year from the date of its passage. BY-LAW passed in open session this 13th day of June, 2016.
