To permit the conversion of an attached garage to finished living space (existing) by reducing the
minimum required side yard setback from 4.5 metres to 2.4 metres.
Teresa and Ronald Reed appeared in support of this application. No persons appeared in
opposition to this application.
Moved by James Vinson, Seconded by Todd Taylor
TO approve the application to permit the conversion of an attached
garage to finished living space by reducing the minimum required side
yard setback from 4.5 metres to 2.4 metres, subject to the following
conditions:
-That the driveway be widened (on the property only) to 7.35 metres to
accommodate a third outdoor parking space;
-that a garage door remain in the original location and not be removed
for any purpose;
-that an apartment-in-house application be applied for; and
-that a building permit be obtained for the garage conversion and
apartment in house, as it meets the intent of the Official Plans and
Zoning By-law, is minor in nature and not detrimental to the
neighbourhood.

To permit the construction of detached garage by increasing the maximum total floor area from 90
square metres to 105 square metres.
Brian Syer appeared in support of this application. No persons appeared in opposition to this
application.

TO approve the application to permit the construction of a detached
garage by increasing the maximum permitted total floor area from 90
square metres to 105 square metres, subject to the condition that the
existing shed be permanently removed from the lands, as it meets
the intent of the Official Plans and Zoning By-law, is minor in nature
and not detrimental to the neighbourhood.
Adoption of the minutes from October 10, 2013.

Appeal date for the foregoing applications is November 13, 2013
