Darlington Councilme-t- this day , Reeve Nichols presiding., to finish the
Township business for the year.
Minutes of last meeting were read , and on motion of R.C.Stevens and id. Tabb
same were adopted.
Correspondence was received and filed. This included a report from Park
Co7uzrittee and letter from Sick Childred' s Hos-oital.
Mr. jones addressed Council re- Saab-Divi sion(Hircock Farm')Roads ' fir.fir. Jones
-vas advised to have Do-nevan It Richards prepare full plans of this sub-division
and forward they to the Department of Planning Development and have them forwarded
to this Council by January11, 1954.
Mr. Sam non and 11r. Waters visited `council and explained the Act
sanitation. On motion of R.C.Steens and G.B.Rickard the
respecting Plumbing and v
Council pass t_pis By-Law.
Road Supt. presented his report and vouchers to Dec. 15th., which were on
motion accepted and vouchers ordered to be paid.
On motion of G.B.Rickara and E.F.G.Vice the Council authorize the Reeve amd
Treasurer to sign cheques to the end of the month.
On motion of C-.B..qiqkard and F.F.G.Vice the Council authorize the Reeve,
Treasurer and Road Supt. to sign the yearly report of Roads and 11=-v-ard same to
Mu-nicipal Roads Engineer for approval.
E.F.G.Vice and Clerk were authorized to have the floor covered where Council s
sit. On motion of R.C.Stevens and E.F.G.Vice. Walter Rundle and Bruce 'link be app-
pointed to Durham District -'sigh School Board for 1 year.
General account was presented and on motion ordered paid.

for lack of evidence this Council do not feel that they responsible for any negligence
and that the bill for 8200.00 be not paid re-da-mages to tomatoez.
