A representative meeting of Darlington Clarke Bov,manville and
Newcastle Councils was held for the purpose of discussing the need of maintenance
on the County Road # 1, and also the expenditure of the $50000.00 which had been
allotted and should have been set aside for the Construction work on County Road
1. This expenditure being authorized by ?ion® Geo. Doucett, IlKinister of

On motion of Art 'cl* of Clarke and John Rickard of Newcastle
a letter be sent to the Counties' Engineer, George Totten and remind him of the
necessity of Maintenance work on County Road # 1 as it was and is in a
deplorable condition and also 6m a reminder that the Representatives here assem-
bled request that the 350000.00 for construction of this road be used for construc-
tion on this road in the current year 1954.
