Darlington Council-met this day to open Tenders for Maintainer.
No action was taken on Tenders as `4r. A. D. Gorrie, Municipal Road Engineer,
advised the Council that the Tenders should be made out on new Tender forms supplied by the
Department of Highways, and that the Council had no approval from the Department nor any
monies with which to purchase.
On motion of R.C.Stevens and E.F.G.Vice the matter of purchasing maintainer
be deferred to a later date. Carried.
Supplementary By-law for capital road expenditure was introduced and on motion
given its several readings and ordered to be signed, sealed and numbered 2012.
