A special meeting was held on the above date to reconsider Tenders
or Motor Grader
Moved by Deputy 2eeve Vice and Councillor Stevens that the motion
of April 14th. -meeting to purchase an Adams Grader be rescinded® Carried.
Having been advised by the I.Hunicipal Engineer of the Dept® of
Highways that subsidy would be paid only on the low Tender, the bids of
Con-Dressed Air Equipment,(Huber Warco) at x15062-00, and the Dominion Road
Machinery Co.,(Champion) at $15762.00, both these bids to include power sliding
mouldboard, and not to include snow plow and snow wing , were considered®
It was moved by Deputy Reeve Vice and seconded by Councillor Werry
that,, since we have been assured of good service by the Dominion Road2achinery
Co.,, and, that we have had the Champion Motor Grader recommended to us by other
Municipalities, that this Council purchase a Champion D 496 motor grader cakplete
with power sliding mouldboard, at a Price of $15762.00. (Fifteen Thousand
Seven Hundred and Sixty-Two Dollars®) Carried®
