date with all Members present.

A By-law to regulate and license junk shops, junk yards, second-
hand shops and dealers in second-hand goods in the Township of Darlington , was
By-law 2024 given its several readings and ordered signed,sealed and n uubered 2024.
Clerk to check Dog Tax Book.
Moved by Councillor Osborne and Councillor Stevens that the Assessor
collect dog tax when making Assessments. Carried®
Clerk was instructed to ask Planning Board to meet to discuss By-law,
appoint Officers and lay plans, before July 7, 1955•
Moved by Councillors Yaerry and Osborne that expenses of the
Planning Board be paid by Council. Carried.
Moved by Deputy Reeve Vice and Councillor Osborne that the Clerk
advertise in Bowmanville, Oshawi l a id Camercial News for Tenders for a truck for the
Township. Carried.
Moved by Councillor Stevens and Deputy Reeve Vice that a special
meeting be held on June 29, 1955 at 1.30 P.M. to open Tenders for "ruck. Carried.®
Clerk to call Bennett re-dust on east Town Line Road in 5th.
Clerk was instructed to get information frau E.A.Sulmners as to where
'we should ask for complete information on Tile Drainage Act.
