Adjourned"Council Meeting of January 9th, 1956,reconvened on the above
date at 1.30 P.M., all Members present except Councillor Osborne.
Moved by Deputy Keeve Rickard and Councillor Blanchard that Road Supt.
be instructed to make temporary repairs at the Hampton Mill Dam ridge.
By Law No2031 (Through Street), was given its first and second reading
and will be forwarded to the Dept. of Highways for approval.
By Law No. 2034 (Appt. of Fence Viewers and Pound r'eepers) was given
its several readings and ordered signed sealed and numbered.
By Law No. 2036 ( Road Books Accounts ) was given its several readings
and ordered signed, sealed and numbered.
By Law No. 037 (Clerk, Treasurer and Tax,Collectory was given its
several readings and ordered signed, sealed and numbered. _
By-Law No. 2038 (Deputy Clerk, Deputy Treasurer and Deputy Tax Collector)
was given its several readings and ordered sighed, sealed and numbered.
By Law No 2040' (Road Supt. Appointment) was given its several readings
and ordered signed sealed and numbered, to be forwarded for approval.
Relief acco,_mts totalling $ 356.66 were passed on motion of
Deputy Reeve Rickard and Councillor Stevens.
Moved by Councillors Stevens and Blanchard that authority be given
to the Secretary of the Planning Board to approve transactions that do not require
the consideration of Courc it or Planning Board.
Moved by Councillors Stevens and Blanchard that the matter of Fire
Protection be the responsibility of the Township Property Committee. (Aes. # 3.)
