HAMPTON, FEBRUARY, 28, 1956•
Darlington Township Council met in the Township Hall, Hampton, in
special session, on the above date, to consider the Finance Coamittee° s report
and budget and to pass By-laws.
Moved by Councillor Blanchard and Deputy Reeve Rickard that Road
Superintendent investigate complaint of Mr. Ostler in Jones Sub-division 639,
Moved by Councillor Osborne and Councillor Blanchard that W.R.Pickell
be appointed Weed Inspector for the Township of Darlington for the year 1956 at the
same salary as previous years.
Moved by Deputy Reeve Rickard and Councillor Stevens that Claude Smith
be paid : 15.00 per month as a disability allowance, 910.00 which will be eligible
for subsidy.
Moved by Deputy Reeve Rickard and Councillor Blanchard that Council
recommend that Planning Board set a fee for Members for attendance at meetings,
Road By-law # 2041, and Dog By-law fir` 20L.2 was given were given the-Lr
several readings and on motion ordered to be signed, sealed and numbered.
Moved by Councillors Osborne and Blanchard that Township contribute

On motion of Deputy Reeve Rickard and Councillor Stevens that Council
approve proposed School site Lot 23, Con. 3, if site meets with the approval of
Sanitary Inspector,
