Darlington Township Council met this day in the Township Hall, all Members
present, Reeve Nichols presiding.
Moved by Councillor Stevens and Deputy Reeve Rickard that the minutes of
last meeting be adopted as presented.
Moved by Councillor Stevens and Deputy Reeve Rickard that the General
Accounts to the amount of : 121942.04 be passed and paid as presented.
Moved by Councillor Osborne and Councillor Stevens that the Road Accounts
to the amount of be passed and paid..
Moved by Deputy Reeve Rickard and Councillor Osborne that the bill for
dragging submitted by Lloyd Slemon be paid at the regular rate.
Moved by Deputy Reeve Rickard and Councillor Osborne that Clerk write

j Bruce Tink to the e"f'ect that he is appointed to the Durham Count District High School
Board for a three (3) year term.
\ Bark By-lav was introduced and on motions of Deputy Reeve Rickard,
and Councillor Osborne given its three readings and ordered signed,sealed and
By-law 2062. numbered 2062.
Moved by Councillors Osborne and Blanchard that the Reeve and Clerk be
authorized to sign cheques to pay salaries to December 31, 1956.
Moved by Deputy Reeve Rickard and Councillor Osborne that all full time
employees be given a bonus of $25.00 per annum. (Stewart, MacLean, Ashton, F. Ferguson,
C. Ferguson, Cameron, Dickie, J.D.Hogarth, Rundle and Niddery).
Moved by Councillor Stevens and Deputy Reeve Rickard that this Council
adjourn.
