Darlington Council met this evening with the members all present.nahe minutes
of the last meeting were read, and on motion were adopted as read. The bills
were read, and were on motion ordered to be paid.
Mr. Rogers complained of the- condition of the road leading to his place.
The Road Superintendent advised that he would do something to relieve the
situation.
Mr. Holt visited the council and advised that he could supply snow fence
for later fall delivery.
Mr. Ewart Marston presented blaze prints and specifications for a bridge
known as the Flintoff Bridge.
On motion of A. Millson and R.t9. Nichols this council engage C.G.-Parker,
consulting engineer, to look after the construction of the Flintoff Bridge, and
also have him advertise for tenders. To be advirtised on Friday Ja.l.y 11th and
lSth, tenders to close July 25th.
A delegation from the Womens Institute visited the council regarding the

Park Commission, and suggested that Gordon Wilbur and. Lewis Trull be appointed
on the Park Commission with the Reeve. Lewis Trull prepared a list of articles
needed and repairs required to the amount of $300.00. On motion of Roy McGill
and A. Millson, the Womens Institute have a representative on the Park Commission.
Mrs, E.H. Cole was appointed.
On motion of R.W. Nichols and Roy McGill this council donate $200.00 mto
Park Commission, for repairs to be made in the Park.
The Road Superintendent presented his report and vouchersfor June, which
were on motion accepted and vouchers ordered to be paid.
Road Superintendent read letter from Miss Apha Hodgins re side road to
Spry farm, west of Enniskillen, also a letter from D.D. Barton, asking that some
thing be done to fix his road at lake and at the farm.
On motion of H. Skinner and R. McGill, the meeting adjourn to meet August
7th at 7.30 p.m.
