Darlinton Coundil met this evening with the Members all present.
The minutes of the last meeting were read and on motion were adopted as r
Charles Dean addressed the Council re- the road between Carftright and Darlinton
requesting to have this read repaired as he had logs to take out for lumber;' On
motion of PeW.Nichols and. H. Skinner the Town Dine west of Burketon beinvestigated by
Roy McGill and A, Millson and Road Supt,
Mr. Hall Sanitary Inspector addressed the Council re-Dog Kennel at J.
Leadbeaters property as a complaint had been lodged with the Dept. of Health," The
Clerk to write Leadbeater and inform him that he would not be issued a Kennel,License
for 1948
Gay and ConTwq tender for Flintoff Bridge was opened and read, the tendered price
$3250.00 without fill, On motion of R.W.Nichols and A. Millson this Council accept
the Tender of Gay CooLtd., and that this bridge be built,
On motion of A. Millson and H, 3dnner this Council purchase 3/4 of an acre from Mw
Geo, Moore Lot 33, Can. 109, at a price of $100.00 per Acre::
%Le Miller presented his report and vouchers for July which were on motion
accepted and vouchers ordered to be paid.

On motion of A, Millson and Roy McGill the meeting adjourned to meet September 4,
at 1 O'clock.

Special meeting of Council held this evening with the Members all present.
Discussion took place regarding the Tractor. It had to be sent to Toronto to
be repaired as sand had got in the Crank Case and injured the Crank Shaft and
bearings also Connecting Rods.
It was not known at this JSime full extent of damages or the cost of repairs.
