The minutes of last meeting were read and on motion adopted as reads The Commnications were read and on motion received and filed. The bills were read and on motion of R.McGill and H. Skinner these bills be paid as read. Liability Road Insurance was taken up. Clerk read a letter from Miss Neads stating that she could offer us coverage up to $P-'*.00 Walter Parrinder addressed the Council re Liability Insurance to cover roads. He gave us a list of accidents that bad been settled by the Company. His premium being the same as former years $260.00. On motion of R,.YcGill and A, Millson the Insurance be given to Walter Parrinder . On motion of H Skinner and A. Millson the rate for use of Tractor and Grader $5.00 per hour and Angledozer $5.00 per hour. Road Supt. presented his report and vouchers for September which were on motion accepted and vouchers ordered to be paid. On motion of A.Millson and R.WNichols the Reeve appoint a Committee to buy a tarpaulin. Comrni.ttee: A.Millson, W.L.Miller and Hs Skinner. Meeting adjourned to meet November 6th., 1947.'
