McGill and A. Millson thbe Cou_�cil renew their Membership fee of $5.00 in the Rural Atsociation of MuniciDalities. On motion of A. Millson and R.Y-cGill this Council authorize the Road Supt, to attend the Good Roads Cxxmmddmx Association. The Bills were raed and on motion of AlItillson 'end R. McGill ordered to be paid. Clerk to write L*C,Mason to the effect that that portion of road allowance was not for sale, Messrs. G.F.Annis and Ross Stevens visited the Council and solicited a grant for Maintenance purposes for Bowmanville Hospital. This matter will be taken up at a future datee' Reeve Woodyard and Road Supt, Reid addressed the Council regarding the agreement for work on the Town Line. This appears to be satisfactory. A.Millson introduced a 3y-Law to set Road Expenditures for 1949, which was on motion given its several readings and ordered to be signed.sealed and Numbered 1143. Amount $ 46boo.00 The Road Suclot, presented his report and vouchers which were on motion accepted and Vouchers ordered to be paida On motion of H. Skinner and R. McGill the Clerk advertise for Applications for 0 Office of Assessor.applications to be in Clerk1s hands by March 3rd., 12 otclock none The Clerk to inquire re ByRLaw to keep kennel of dogs in village. Mr. W.R.Grosskurth addressed the Council re steel culverts stating that they would be hardnto get. On motion of A. Millson and Harold Skinner the Road Supt. order the same amount of Culverts as was ordered last spring approximately 20 culverts 12u to 241, On motion of A. Millson and R.
