The mi=ztes of last meeting were read and on motion were adopted as read. Reeve called on Mr. Jim Holt representing Roofers Supplies and explained the shallow fill culvert. On motion of A.Millson and Roy McGill this Council purchase 5000' of snow fence and 100 posts. On motion of Roy McGill and A.Millson this Council order a culvert 50x31, 409 long for Found culvcfrt. If this is not agreeable to R.W.Nichols this order may be changed to meet his requirements. On motion of R.Nichols and A. Millson this Council order 20 signs,r'Road Closed, and 10 signs 1PHalf-Loads" in effect. On motion of R.W.Nichols and A.Millson no telephone wires,poles,gaide wires guide poles or cable of any description can be placed on any Township Road unless the sams be within 3t of the fence line,unless figuring on less than. 661 road way,without the special permission of the Council. This will also include Hydro bines. Tenders for crushing gravel were opened from Mr. Young,H.C.W. Mills,Harnden and Ring and R.A.Blyth. On emotion of A.Millson and Roy McGill this contract be awarded to H.C.W.Y-ills. This ration was carried. - Applications were read from Robt,11offatt,Lesli.e Thompson and J.R.Reynolds for position of Assessor. On motion of R.W.Nichols and A.Millson this Council set the salary of Assessor at $600.00 and 100 per dog. J.R.Reynolds accepted this salary. Communications were read. On motion of A.Millson and H. Skinner the Institute for the Blind be granted permission to hold Tag Day. The Bills were read and on motion of A. Millson and H.Skinner they be paid as read. The Road Supt. presented his report and vouchers which were on motion accepted and vouchers ordered to be paid.(Motion of JAMillson and R.McGill) On motion of H•Skinner and A.Millson the Coucnil meet April 1,IQ,g.
