Presently, the order of the agenda for the General Purpose and Administration
Committee Is as follows:

In dealing with each department's section of the agenda, the departmental
liaison council member chairs that portion of the meeting.
Staff have been reviewing the organizational structure over the last few months
and a report recommending a new structure is included on the agenda for
today's meeting. With the introduction of the new organizational structure, it is.
recommended that the following order of business for the committee meeting be .

It is suggested that this format be implemented for a one-year trial period,
It should be noted that this committee structure will be implemented immediately,
however the organizational structure will not be, In the meantime, the Chair of
the Operations Department will be dealing with the existing Director of Public
Works and the Chair of the Corporate Services Department will deal with the
Treasurer and the Clerk,
