Darlington Council met this evening-.with Members all present., The minutes of the last meeting were read and on motion adopted,"- The Committee reported that they had not -settled as of date with Jame Stark for pine logs, damage claim for cattle beast being injured by patting her foot through a hole in a metal calwert. The Adjuster suggested that the Township Livestock Valuators value this animal,and the Insurance co. might pay damages. Clifford Pethick applied to have a sidewalk raised and repaired, The Council agreed to place gravel and cement enough for the work;' J*R Re ynolds ,gau8�.�A�;_ tof the Assessment 8011. Reeve Squair reported that he and Jas. Brown had inspected the water course through the Win. Clemence farm and reported that Clemence was agreeable to have the ditch opened up ° On motion of Arthur Millson and. Roy Mc Gill,Darlington Council agreeto have the word "Constraction6° added to the agreement and with that addition leave the agreement as it now stands. G.F,Annis visited the Council regarding weeds. The Comnuni.cations were read. and Clerk was authorized to see Nelson Osborne re-Park Buildings Insurance and--that if he could not insure without the particular clauses written in to insure.with H.E.Heads.> Horth of High � Marston visited the Council regarding water on Town Line East and The Bills were read and on motion were ordered to be paid. The Road Supt. presented his report and vouchers for July which were on- motion ordered to be paid. On motion the meeting adjourned to meet Sept. 2, at 1.30 oarlock.
