The Committee reported that they had not settled with James Stark re-pine logs. Com+mxuication was read from East Whitby Council regarding a meeting with Darlington Council regarding a bridge on Town Vine. On motion of Roy Mclilill and H. J.R.Reynolds returned the Assessment roll for 1949, which was on motion of A.Millson and Harold Skinner accepted and he was ordered to be paid. A Resolution was passed adopting the Assessment mads and revised in the year 1947 upon whichthe rates of taxation shall be levied in the year 1949. On motion of A. Also n and Roy Nichols the Assessor notify those eligible to pay Poll Tac and return the list to Treasurer. The Road Supt,' presented his report and !ouchers. for August which were on motion accepted and vouchers ordered to be paid -- On motion of Roy Nichols and. Roy McGiA this Council accept the Policy of NelsonOsborne on Park Buildings. Premium $12.30. On motion of Roy Nichols and H. Skinner the Road Supt* be authorized to pay $10.00 to Treasurer of Eldad Church for storage of new grader in winter 1947-49.
