The Inaugural Meeting of Darlington Township Council was held this da-7 S 1.

A.M. in the Darlington Township Hall.
The Members of the Council were duly sworn in after which Rev. E.S.Tdnstead
read a portion of Scriptu-re, spoke a few words of Advice and encouragement and.
offered prayer.
The Meeting adjourned to dinner,
The Council resumed "business at 1.30 P.M.
Camminications. were read: From the Assoc. of Rural lb2nicipalities. On motion
Councilsend their $5-00 fee for Men-bership..
Resolution was read which was passed. by Cartwright Council re-advisability
of raising bonus on fox from $2,00 to $4.00.
Reeve A.Millson and Councillor Roy McGill were appointed to the advisory
Board re- Closed Area.
Estimate for painting the -Arterior of Township Hall from Chas. Greenham
for $150-00. On motion of RW.Nichols amd H.Skinner Y--. Greenham be given the contract.
On motion of R.W Nichols and Roy McGill this Council- send Membership fee of $5.00
to the Ontario Association of Good Roads.
On motion of H. Skinner and R.W'.Xichols clerk order 7 subscriptions of the
Muni ci-oal World.
On motion of R.T.Eichols and Roy. McGill this Council pay JkR.Reynolds $900,00
for Assess-or and 100 bonus on dogs.
The bills were read and ordered to be paid.
On motion Garnet Rickard was appointed as Member to the Federation of Agriculture
from the Tvp. of Darlington.
The Clerk to advertise for Tenders for Maintainer with S-U Maintainer to be
taken in contract. Two insertions,
On motion the meeting adjourned to meet February 3.
