The minutes of the last meeting were read and on motion adopted as re U ad.; Roy LIc Gill reported having looked over the lane situation fro H. Potter and that Yro-I Potter was given use of same. Committee on building reported that they heal looked over a building and decided that a building the same would be satisfactory for Darlington To7nship� s use. V On motion of Roy Hichols and R. He Gill tht committee draw u7a s-jecifications of the building and advertise in the local -papers for Tenders. ff.R.Grosskarth visited the Council re-Pipe Arch Culverts and Snow Fence. Clerk was instructed to write the 00'ant7 Road Supt, regarding a tree in front of store builing in EnnisId lien village, the tree being in a dangerous A Cam2i .tee of the South Darlington School Area Board accompanied by Inspector McKeown. -oresented a letter to the Council asking the m to approve the issuing of Debentures for the building of two (2) schools of two(2) rooms each in the South Darlington School Area, On motion of R.W.Yicholz and Garnet. Rickard the a-oioroval of the Issue of Debentures for these buildings in the amount of $ 93400.00 was given, This was to be Uhei p placed before the Ontario Ibmicipal Boar,�. E'ar ' 4 r a- pro7al. Com-2=ication was read signed by a comber of farmers in South Darlington asking that their School taxes be levied on their instead of on the whole of their -oro-oerty. This matter was to be taken un with the Dept. of Municipal Affairs. Letter was read from the Park Commission asking the Council to accept their resig-nation.from that body. Letter was read from the Hampton. Woments, Institute and the Clerk was instnictea to write the heirs of the JaSez Elliott Estate for consent to turn the Park over to the Hampton Co=mity, The Bills were read and on motion were ordered to be -paid. Clerk was authorized to place all Township Labor on employment Insurance.'
