Darlington Council met this dam with the Members all present, Reeve
Nichols presiding.
On motion of R. McLaughlin and H. Scinner this Council set their road
estimates at $60,000.00. Carried.
Considerable discussion took place regarding the setting of these estimates,
new machinery being the obstacle.
On motion of,H. Skinner and G.B.Rickard, Road Supt. be authorized to
contact the Dept. of Highways for Road Maintainer at any time he requires it.
Mr. McClure was given contract to put on straight run gravel at .55 per yard,
plus .10 per yard for gravel, to load Township truck at .25 per yard.
By-Law 1174 to set Road Estimates was introduced, and on motion
given its several readings and ordered to be signed,sealed and numbered.
