On motion of H Skinner and E.F.G.Vice, R.McLaughlin look over the road by W.H.Brown property and see what is required. On motion of G.B.Rickard and E. Vice the road width north of Varcoe' s be established b Clerk.. JAI On motion of G.B. ickard and H. Skinner Reeve Nidhols.,R.McLaughlin and E. Vice be a committee to meet the Women' s Institute and other organizations re-the handling of Park. A.jelejation from Ratepayer' s assoc. presented some resolutions to Council for their imREonsi e a ion,. Letter was rand from District Post Office Inspector r,-_-mail routes ;#1 anA�! 6, and road north of Tliaydon to 9th and east to Milton Sle±on' s'road thence south on Middle road to Bowmanville. On motion of R. YlcLaughlin and H.Skinner these roads will be kept open to the best of the Tgsansh* Off-iciall-s ability. r George 'Turnbull rep. of the Adams 80. addressed the Council re- Road Maintainer. On motion of G.B.Rickard and E. Vice the Council purchase a new typewriter for the sum of $210.00 with the old one traded in on new. Road Supt® presented his report and vouchers for March which were on motion accepted and vouchers ordered to be paid. General accotnts were read and on motion ordered to be paid. On motion of E.Vice and G.B.Rickard this Council advertise for Tenders for crushing 10,000 cubic yards of gravel. On motion of E.F.G.Vice and H. Skinner the Reeve get the Manager of- the Bank of Commerce to attend the next meeting and see what arrangemnets could be made with them re-interest charges on loand and charges on tax collection.
