7�- Darlington Council met this evening , Reeve Nichols presiding.
One tenter was received for GraTel Crushing from R.A.Blyth Co., which was laid on table
until next meeting.
On motion of H. Skinne and Garnet Rickard Reeve and Clerk were authorized
to sign cheque for $1500.00 to Kamlee Construction Co. provided the job is satisfactory
to E.F.Marston, MAnicipal Road Enginwey®
On motion of E. Vice and R. "Vaughlin Road Supt. be authorized to see about
am over ed loader mounted on International Tractor.
On motion of R. IcLaughlin. and E. Vice Council have the O.P.Police investigate
the dumping of garbage on roads.
Matter of Clerk' s salary was brought up®a On motion of E. Vice and G. Rickard,
the salary be raised $500-91..
On motion of R. c"aughlin and E. Vice the Council to leave their account
with the Bank of Montrealbf they will charge 70 for under $15.00 and log for over $15.00
on collection of taxes and if they will accept payment of taxes in their Bank at Oshawa
under the same conditions as in Bowmanville and transfer the money free of charges.
Borrowings to bear interest at the current rate®.
On motion the meeting adjourned to meet June 5th.
